Spring meeting NVWV: Theme day Construction Plan/Cultivation Plan

The NVWV is organising a theme day focusing on the theme of building plan/cultivation plan. The final networking event within the demonstration project ‘Fertilisation for a robust dairy farm’ will also take place during this theme day.

The cropping plan/crop plan is an essential foundation of farm management in both arable and livestock farming. The choices made in crop succession, rest crops and rotation have direct influence on soil health, yield security and disease and pest control, but also on the quality and continuity of forage production. In a context of increasing pressure on land use, space and regulations, the importance of the cropping plan as a strategic steering tool is growing.

This NVWV theme meeting will focus on the crop rotation plan as the connecting starting point. Experts will present from various perspectives how well thought-out crop rotation contributes to controlling soil-related problems, strengthening soil and cultivation systems and achieving robust forage and crop production. The meeting will provide depth and inspiration and is relevant for everyone involved in practice and in the further development of future-proof agriculture.
