Course approved carrier

The Trial and Training Centre for Agriculture is organising a class evening covering all the different aspects for obtaining the Certificate of Competence in transporting farm animals.

You can obtain the certificate for the following species: pigs, cattle, horses, goats, sheep, poultry and ratites.

The livestock transport class will take place at Tuesday 24 February From 19h30 to 22h30 at Bocholt, Kaulillerweg 3. 

The class will continue in PVL's new building.

Who must have a certificate?

Drivers performing commercial transport.
Carers accompanying a commercial transport.

For the transports below no competence required:
Transport in the course of business such as transporting animals to pasture, stables, a clinic, competition or prize camp without any buying or selling activities.
Transport of own animals within a radius of 50 km in the context of buying/selling own animals, using own vehicle.

PVL sets up training during one evening of classes.
Trainees are automatically enrolled for the exam which will be conducted by DGZ at the same venue as the class evening. The exam will take place on Tuesday 10 March from 20h00 and will consist of multiple-choice questions.

Registration for the course is compulsory and costs 20 euros per person (speaker, course, consumption,...).
Registration for the exam costs 100 euros per person. To confirm your registration you need to 120 euros to be deposited stating ‘name+exam cattle transport’ to the following account number: BE46 1030 1713 6736
