Vacancy animal keeper/researcher

The focus of this position is in the animal sector where you will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the pig farm and monitoring of trials. You have a heart for animals and want to take care of them in the best possible way with attention to economic returns. In addition, you can work protocol-wise to carry out the desired research correctly. You will be part of a team, making consultation and cooperation very important. Not only within the team but also with other colleagues, farmers or other parties involved in the research. An interest in or knowledge of mechanisation is an added value but not required.

Vacancy Researcher Livestock

The focus of this position is in the animal sector where you will be engaged in monitoring trials. Mainly, you will be deployed in rolling out research into emissions and the development of measurement systems for them. Other animal-related research will also be carried out, for example into alternative protein sources in animal feed or methods to reduce the impact of livestock farming on climate and the environment. In this position, you will be part of a team, making consultation and cooperation very important. Not only within the team but also with farmers or other parties involved in the research. Depending on your interest and experience, it is possible to take on a coordinating role within animal research to a greater or lesser extent.

Livestock consultant

The main focus of this position is in the animal sector where you will be called in as an advisor to farmers and possibly other partners within the livestock sector. You will study the research and regulations and provide the farmer with concrete perspectives tailored to his/her farm. The focus will be on emissions, but advice in other areas is also possible. Depending on your interests and abilities, you will also be involved in research and communication or you can explore new research and consultancy domains.
