Build living soil with farm compost and wood chips
Would you like to know what farm compost can do for the fertility and structure of your soil? During this workshop, we will share the initial results of the project on farm composting with grass clippings from nature conservation. We will explain the entire process: from managing hedgerows and mowing nature plots to obtaining high-quality compost that can be used on the field, and all the steps in between.
In addition, we will calculate together what it would cost to produce farm compost on your farm and discuss the practical aspects: from material flows to regulations and cooperation. We would also like to gauge your interest in using farm compost, directly incorporating wood chips and (co-)managing wooded edges.
The same information evening will also be organised once within the project in Kinrooi.
In addition, she is three times offered as part of the LEADER project ‘Multifunctional landscape edge Hoge Kempen’,
namely in Bree, Zutendaal and Oudsbergen.
