Agricultural Research and Training Centre (PVL) is a hands-on research centre that focuses on research and innovation in livestock and fodder production. Job description
The main focus of this position is in the animal sector where you will be called in as an advisor to farmers and possibly other partners within the livestock sector. You will study the research and regulations and provide the farmer with concrete perspectives tailored to his/her farm. The focus will be on emissions, but advice in other areas is also possible. Depending on your interests and abilities, you will also be involved in research and communication or you can explore new research and consultancy domains.
Profile
Min bachelor's degree in agriculture, life sciences or related fields or equivalent through experience.
You are eager to learn and can follow protocols on an independent basis.
You can demonstrate sufficient accuracy, structure and order are important. You are a team player and willing to do occasional weekend work.
Knowledge of pig or dairy farming is an asset.
